PROGRAM INFORMATION - COMING SOON
Community Supported Agriculture or CSA refers to a partnership between the customer and the agricultural producer in which orders and payment are provided upfront to allow the farmer to produce the products for a guaranteed market. This allows us to focus on producing the highest quality product possible for our customers without the worry of if the product has a home when it's finished.
The concept of CSA's is not a new one, however since our first google search of existing programs it became clear that a straightforward & simple design was in short supply. Knowing this, we have done our best to create a program that is easy to understand and mutually beneficial for both parties.
Our CSA shares are based off a 52 week period of weekly pickups for "Full Share" customers & 26 biweekly pickups for "Half Share" customers. The specifics of each share are listed in their product descriptions. Because we are currently offering a meat, egg & dairy CSA there is not a specific "season" as with vegetable CSA shares. We offer continued enrollment opportunities until shares are exhausted. Although we do our best to meet all customer needs, the CSA will be a first come first serve operation for the current year. Your share will run for 52 consecutive weeks from the time you sign up no matter when in the calendar year you start.
For our appreciation to our CSA customers, when you purchase as CSA share, your Patriot Pastures online store account will receive our "Preferred Partner" designation allowing for discounts on additional products you can add to your weekly or biweekly share.
Our current pickup locations will be our Dickerson location but we will be adding additional pickup locations depending on customer need. Please note in the comments section of the checkout which location you would like to use. Please review the share options listed below and feel free to contact us at anytime with additional questions. We thank you & appreciate your Buy Local - Buy Sustainable support!
